Millions have accepted in the past and many more would certainly acknowledge in the future as well, the role Technology has been playing in simplifying and structuring the connect and networking among professionals. Here, I am leveraging this enabler to build up a platform to share my views and vision on Analytics, Strategy and Leadership.

I have extensive, around 18 years, experience in Consulting and Strategic Analytics. I have successfully led Global Consulting Analytics Operations and managed large Fortune 500 accounts. The wide range of assignments I undertook included development and implementation of Analytics Strategy, starting of a new Analytics setup, re-engineer the existing ones and new product development. This experience spans into multiple domains such as HR Analytics, Pharmaceutical and Non Life Insurance (Actuarial- Property and Casualty). In this journey, I majorly worked with HSBC, Aon Hewitt, marketRx and XL Group.

The opportunities to function in multicultural global set up have done wonders to my strategic leadership skills to manage stakeholders, projects, processes, people and technology. This also helped me to develop an understanding of the complex inter relationship among Strategy, Leadership and Analytics.

In order to further hone my skills, I decided to take up one year full time Sloan’s Master in Leadership and Strategy at London Business School, London. Prior to this, I completed integrated MBA (Finance) from IBS Ahmedabad and M Tech (Mining Engineering) from IIT Kharagpur.

I am no different to make an admission of the support I have been receiving from my parents and siblings. They raised me in a secured value based culture and interestingly still continuing to make their marks. It is more than a gift to be blessed with wife Aparna (my junior from IIT days !), daughter Aayushi and son Aviraj. Their unconditional love, patience and perseverance, particularly when times got rough, have been my causes to carry on. My heartfelt gratitude to all.

No one can succeed without formidable guidance from teachers and mentors. I am no exception. I was fortunate to get value based teachings from Dr V D Kukreti during my school days and Dr B S Sastry at IIT. My fortune favored me even further. Mentoring and coaching from my supervisors Mr Anil Parasrampuria and Mr Shrinivas Ayyagari have significantly refined my skills at work. I know that my mere expression of thanks does not commensurate their efforts.

I am sure that this blog will provide a place to interact and enrich us with your comments and thoughts. I encourage you to participate.
